The NewsGuild-CWA will sponsor a debate between the two candidates — incumbent Bernie Lunzer and challenger Jon Schluess — in the presidential election at 5:30 CDT Saturday, Oct. 26. Registration is open to all Guild members, those who are organizing as well as those in existing units.
Questions can be submitted through Zoom during the debate. Howard Stanger, a Labor Educator at Canisius College in Buffalo, N.Y., will assist the moderator with questions submitted.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about how to join the webinar.
A recording of the debate in its entirety will be posted on the Guild’s website soon after the debate ends. A camera or microphone is not required to view the debate, although sufficient bandwidth is necessary.
