A United Media Guild member who works for the National Fast Food Workers Union has become critically ill with the coronavirus. The Go Fund Me account set up for this individual’s crisis has been disabled. We will update this post if we get new information on a vehicle for donations.
UMG members at all of our units, including the NFFWU, have generally been able to work from home as the country navigates the ongoing health crisis. But apparently our member was exposed to the coronavirus before social distancing measures were taken.
The UMG will continue to work with our employers to keep our members as safe as possible during this ongoing crisis.
