Our members at the State Journal-Register are eager to resume bargaining their first contract with GateHouse Media. They expressed that desire — and their Guild solidarity — by displaying balloons in their newsroom in Springfield.
Our negotiations with GateHouse resume Feb. 25 for the Rockford Register Star and Feb. 27 for the State Journal-Register in Springfield. We will begin bargaining a new contract at the Pekin Daily Times Feb. 28.
